HOSTS

Your Lovely, Black-Ass Hosts

Did somebody say “Bottom bitch?!” We are best friends from the Midwest who met at the best HBCU there is
(you know the one). We’re also divorced moms in our thirties who love all things sex and aren’t even a little bit afraid to talk about it. One of us is a sex educator and a whiz at managing people and processes, the other is an author, journalist and editor,
and we both have very clear, informed views on how our race, sexual orientation and gender identities impact the way we move through the world—especially as they relate to sex. Let’s talk about it!

ERICA

Erica is a sex educator whose goal is to empower Black women and femmes with the knowledge, language, and tools they need to obtain pleasure in their lives. In addition to sex education, she has made a career out of identifying process inefficiencies and implementing innovative solutions that positively impact business outcomes. In short: She’s a boss. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Howard University in African American studies and her master’s degree from Johns Hopkins in government. Originally from Missouri, Erica now lives in the Washington D.C. area. When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, reading, shit talking and day drinking.

KENRYA

Besides being an award-winning author, journalist and editorial consultant, Kenrya works every day to amplify the lived experiences and work of people of color and others who are usually pushed to the margins, including women and members of the LGBTQIA community. Author of five books including "How We Fight White Supremacy: A Field Guide to Black Resistance" and "Anti-Racism: Powerful Voices, Inspiring Ideas," Kenrya earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Howard University and her master’s degree in publishing from New York University. She is a proud native of Ohio, and currently lives in the Washington, D.C. area. She likes to watch movies, bake, have dance parties with her little and talk shit both indoors and out.
Pronouns: she/her
