We're going to shout out a few accounts on social media, a couple accounts on social media that make us laugh, make us learn, make us-- Kenrya: Give us delight! Erica: I try to do three. Kenrya: Essential as hell. Erica: Exactly. Okay, so we're going to get started. Do you want to start Kenrya? Kenrya: I mean, I guess. So, I guess the first person I want to shout out is somebody who I started following, I don't know in November? Her name is Asia Chloe Brown. Is that one of yours? Erica: No, But I love her. Kenrya: So, she tweets about all kinds of stuff, but what earned the follow for me was that she did this whole thread about like for people who have sex with women, this is how you make them come. Oh, I thought I sent this to you. Erica: You might have. Kenrya: Yeah, Erica: I'll get it again. Kenrya: So she like, one thing that really stuck with me, I was just repeating this to somebody else with attribution. She was like, rubbing on a woman. Like what does she say? Just putting your finger, essentially just like rooting around inside a vagina basically is like rubbing on a man's elbow and expecting him to come. Erica: Yeah. Kenrya: Like if you not touching the clit for 90 some odd percent of people who identify as women, who have clitorises you missing the point. Erica: Yeah. Kenrya: Like period. So she was like doing a whole breakdown of like- Erica: I remember this thread. Kenrya: Yeah, of like for... You know, she mostly angled it toward men. Right? Because she's just thinking about the majority of women. Erica: Because most women that are having sex with women-- Kenrya: Know how to do-- Erica: Understand what a woman wants. Kenrya: Exactly. So like really breaking it down, suggesting toys to use like all kinds of stuff. And it was super comprehensive and she even like opened up her DMs and was answering questions in real time to clueless ass men who were hitting her up. And yeah, it was just, and one thing. Erica: Doing the Lord's work. Kenrya: Really and fucking truly, and it was something that she said that stood out to me that I had never really thought about, but I felt, and she was saying that because some, one of the somebody, I think one of the questions was about like lube or something and he was saying she doesn't want to use it. And he was saying that she, she was like, well a lot of women feel like a failure if they have to use lube because they feel like their body is not doing what it's supposed to do. Erica: Your body just might not produce lube. Kenrya: Hello? Or it may not be aroused enough or it's a whole bunch of fucking, your hormones, all kinds of shit. You're on birth control, you're on allergy medication. Erica: I find when I use lube, I get even wetter. I just need a little jumpstart. Kenrya: I use lube almost every single time I have sex. Erica: Yeah. Especially if you fucking for hours, you need lube. Yeah. Kenrya: And I don't feel any ways about it. But there was a time when I did and it's because I was with a man who basically told me something was wrong with me because I wasn't getting wet. Erica: Yeah, that something's wrong with me. You. Kenrya: But it made me think of that. And all she said in particular, she was like a lot of Black women in particular had this issue. And a lot of it is just socialization, being told that that is what we are supposed to be able to do on our own and that we shouldn't need any help, which is basically the fucking epitome of how Black women are treated. Right? Like we're supposed to do everything without help. And apparently that even comes down, it's a fucking lubing up. Erica: Having sex with someone. Kenrya: I mean, come on. One of the problems that I have with like Instagram and Twitter people is that I feel like some parts of their lives are a little too performative and so of like let's trot our kids up to be cute and do that kind of thing he trots his, he doesn't trot his kids out. Like that book just sets up the ...See I'm trying not to spoil it because I really want people to read it. Like that book just sets up the way her relationship goes. So one of the, one of the situations in the book is that Jenny's boyfriend, I forget his name, but I want to keep calling him Daniel Dae Kim because we have cast in the movie about this book. But anyway, his sister, Daniel Dae Kim's sister is in school and she relieves tension by baking. So he not only fucks her but feeds her- Kenrya: Fucks her well and feeds her well. Erica: Sweets.
